Even though you’ll continue with the clear liquids diet for 7 days more, your sensations won’t be the same as they were before the surgery.

Nutritional feeding for stage 2

During the first and second day after the surgery, only clear liquids list.

Drinks

Natural water, coffee, tea, infusions without sugar.

Clear soups

Liquids resulting from the cooking of a protein of animal origin such as chicken or beef.

Gelatines

Commercial light gelatine or made by you without sugar.

Protein supplements

You should start consuming the 3rd. The day after your bariatric surgery, the protein supplement that you consume should contain:

From 100 - 250 Kcal. per shot.
Protein
From 20 - 30 gr. per shot.
Sugars
Less than 5 gr. per shot.
Fat / lipids
Less than 3 gr. per shot.
